News Lil Wayne Disses NBA

Lil Wayne goes off on the Miami Heat and specific NBA players while at an NBA All-Star Weekend event.
Although Lil Wayne enjoys watching basketball, he's had his fair share of trouble with the NBA. Most recently, involving the Miami Heat, whom Weezy lashed out against when they kicked him out of a game against the L.A. Lakers for reportedly threatening a fan. Now reports are coming in that Wayne has once again spoken out against the Miami Heat, this time during the NBA All-Star Weekend at a performance early Monday in Houston. Both Karen Civil and Shaheem Reid, who were in attendance at the event at Stereo Live, sent out tweets quoting Wayne dissing LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade. It appears Weezy F led chants saying, "Fuck the NBA," "Fuck the Miami Heat," "Fuck LeBron, fuck 'she Wade." The YMCMB rapper also apparently claimed to have had sex with Chris Bosh's wife, and says he was banned from the NBA because the Miami Heat asked for it.

Lupe Has Lost His Mind
Crazy Dread Heads

Rapper Lupe Fiasco was ushered off stage Sunday after a 30-minute politically charged performance at a pre-inauguration party. The socially-conscious lyricist took the opportunity to bash the President's foreign policy in a song that had partygoers confused, since it was supposed to be an Obama celebration event. "Limbaugh is a racist, Glenn Beck is a racist, Gaza strip was getting bombed, and Obama didn't say sh--," he sang. The party, hosted by start-up group Hypervocal, featured Fiasco as the headliner. Several party attendees shared photos and videos of the rapper being escorted from the stage by burly security guards. Early Monday, Hypervocal's Twitter page read, "Disappointed that an artist took opportunity to use an event celebrating innovation/startups to make a political statement." But in an official statement, the group maintained that the rapper was not thrown off for voicing his opinion. Fukkin Lupe SMH!!! "We are staunch supporters of free speech, and free political speech," it read. "This was not about his opinions. Instead, after a bizarrely repetitive, jarring performance that left the crowd vocally dissatisfied, organizers decided to move on to the next act." Recently, Lupe Fiasco caused a stir when he shut down his Twitter account and canceled the release of what would have been his upcoming sequel album "Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album Part 2."
